The Victory Camp Summer Leadership Program is an opportunity for teens to be a part of the life changing things taking place at Victory Camp. This fantastic opportunity is for teens who would like to develop their leadership and ministry skills and gain practical experience. SLP participants spend time assisting in activity areas, pre-camp preparations, and many other day to day operations They are also a part of the daily staff devotional meetings and staff olympic events. There are 4 service terms to choose from:
MANDATORY TRAINING CAMP: June 6-8
TERM 1: June 9-25
TERM 2: June 28- July 14
TERM 3: July 15-31
TERM 4: August 1-7
Applicants must be at least 15 years of age by June 1st and complete a SLP application, essay, and provide three letters of reccomendation.
Victory Camp's summer staff is assembled from Christian
high school and college students who are not just looking for a summer job, but are desiring to spend their summer ministering to children and teens. The summer staff works in a variety of activity and support areas. Students who are at least 16 years of age may apply for one or two term summer employment.
SENIOR STAFF TRAINING: May 22, May 28-29
SENIOR STAFF SEASON 1: June 2-July 2
MANDATORY JUNIOR STAFF/ SLP/ CIT TRAINING: June 6-8
JUNIOR STAFF SEASON 1: June 9 -July 2
SR./ JR. STAFF SEASON 2: July 5 - August 7
Employment at Victory Camp will provide students with the opportunity to grow spiritually through daily devotionals as well as practical experience in servanthood. It is also a wonderful opportunity to gain work experience in a Christian envirnment.
On-campus dormitories and meals are available for staffers during their summer employment. Weekly salaries vary by experience and position.
New this summer is our CIT (Counselor In Training) Program. This is an opportunity for students who have completed at least 7th grade to take their experience at Victory Camp to the next level. CITs will be assigned to assist a senior counselor the kids overnight camp and the day camp sessions. This is an excellent opportunity for younger teens to learn responsibility and have fun at the same time! CIT positions are very limited. Program dates are June 6-18, 2010.
Applicants must have completed 7th grade by June 1st and complete a CIT application, essay, and provide two letters of reccomendation.
